Sean Reinert Cynic Update / Kit For Sale

The big news as many of you might now be aware of is that Cynic is in the process of recording a second record. We have finished a 3 song pre production demo and couldn't be happier. We are sorting through label requests and are pushing for a early fall 2008 release. I think Cynic fans are going to be quite happy with the sound and direction of the music as well as the line – up. I'll leave it at that:)

I am also happy to announce that I am now fully endorsed by Sabian cymbals, Sonor drums and Grindstix. This announcement is actually way overdue as I have been working with Sabian for over 1 1/2 years now and Sonor for about a year. A huge thanks to Chris Stankee at Sabian in Burbank for the amazing cymbals I have here in Los Angeles, and Frank Rohe at Musik und Technik in Germany for totally hooking me up with great cymbals on the road!!

A huge thanks to Sean Cox at Sonor in Glen Allen, VA for the beautiful Delite kit I have at home, and Thomas Barth at Sonor Germany for the great backline kits on the road!

I'd also like to thank Ian at Grind Percussion. We have just started working together on a Sean Reinert signature stick model. I'm reallly looking foward to seeing my name on that stick:)

So, now that I have all of this great product support, I have some gear I don't need. I'm putting up for sale my beautiful and pristine Spaun drum kit. Maple kit, w/ a Turquoise Satin finish. All toms are on Rimms mounts and come w/ tom stands:
8"x7" tom – 10"x9" tom – 12"x11 tom – 14"x13 tom – 20"x18" kick (no hole drilled for tom mount). This kit sounds amazing, I wish I didn't have to get rid of it. I'm also selling a 1992 Fender Telecaster (light blue, american) and a stereo pair of Mint Vintage LA-3A's (w/ the URIE logo). Anyone interested hit me up here and we can discuss further.
