Daniel Koppy and Reaping Asmodeia have been grinding away at the recording process this month for their upcoming sophomore release on Prosthetic Records, due out in 2020. In the mix of recording the album, Daniel decided to take a moment to showcase some of his new gear in another cover video. Daniel recently was brought on as a Mapex drums artist, and this video is his first to showcase his new Mapex Saturn V kit.
Daniel shares; “I am very honored to be a part of the Mapex brand and family. They have been doing some amazing things both sonically and visually with their drums for a while now. The guys in Reaping Asmodeia have been neck-deep in the tracking process for our next album. I figured it was a good time to get another video out there of my brand new Mapex kit so you all could see and hear what shells I will be using on the next Reaping Asmodeia album, so I cranked out a video of the track “New Salem” by Misery Index. The track is off their newest album, and it rips. It is a raw and powerful album. Adam Jarvis always delivers top-notch drumming on all of his releases. This track is aggressive from start to end and has some killer riffs in it both guitar and drum-wise. It was quite a challenge!
