Sick Drummer Magazine Develops Interactive Advertisements!

The March issue of Sick Drummer Magazine is home to two of the first ever interactive advertisements in a digital magazine. Developed by SD Art Director Andon Guenther, for the Sabian and TRX Cymbal Companies, these rich media animations are only the beginning of our quest to exapnd the magazine on every level! Some words from TRX President David Levine; "The TRX Cymbal Co. has announced that it has become the first drum equipment manufacturer to take advantage of an advanced, interactive, electronic advertising platform developed exclusively by Sick Drummer Magazine.

Designed by Sick Drummer’s art director, Andon Guenther, the two-page TRX ad in the March 2009 issue of the e-magazine not only features progressive graphics and a strong message, it also incorporates animated images of the company’s new over-sized BRT Series cymbals that become active during mouse-overs as well as high-quality audio samples that are activated by clicking on the image of each model.

“This ad illustrates the awesome power of electronic advertising and modern media to take the presentation of high-end products to an entirely new level,” says David.
