UK progressive Death Metallers Viatrophy have announced they are breaking up. A statement from drummer Craig Reynolds: "It is with great sadness that I have to announce that Viatrophy are splitting up. Gurneet has decided he no longer wants to continue with the band and wants to concentrate on a degree and different career path. As he and I were the main writing force, we unfortunately cannot physically go on any longer as a band. Thank you to anyone who has helped us along the way.
As a result of the split, aside from my session work I will be looking to join another professional, touring band. I live for the road and even just these last few months off have been killer. Someone get me out there! I will have no problem in relocating to the US, Australia, or other parts of Europe for the right band. Thanks for all the support from Sick Drummer Magazine."
