Pyrexia To Release 'Feast of Iniquity' Next Month - New Track Posted - The Pendulum

Drummer Doug Bohn and NY death metal legends, Pyrexia, are back with a new slab of epic brutality set for Release via Unique Leader Records later this Fall. The ten-track Feast of Iniquity was recorded at New York's Pitch Black Sound and mixed and mastered by Chris "Zeuss" Harris (Kataklysm, The Red Chord, Crowbar, Municipal Waste, 3 Inches Of Blood et al) at Planet Z in Massachusetts, making it the most sonically punishing record of Pyrexia's menacing catalog of chaos!

With the addition of Doug Bohn (Suffocation – Pierced From Within) on drums alongside Dave "War Machine" Culross (Suffocation, Malevolant Creation) and their signature assault of maniacal riff shifts, subterranean growls and devious groove, Feast of Iniquity is a threatening expulsion of true sonic venom and arguably their most pungent creation since Sermon of Mockery! Believe it.

A few words from Doug Bohn on the album: "I can't wait for everyone to hear the new Pyrexia! It's my best work since Pierced from Within. We took our time writing and recording this one at Chris Basile's pro home studio – about a year plus. I tracked six of the songs on the record and Dave Culross tracked the other four. We wrote songs, trashed songs, mixed up songs until we were satisfied. Put your calculators away, we're bringing back the brutal groove to extreme metal! As far as the gear used, I'd rather not reveal that. Not to be a dick, but I've used the same drum company and cymbal company for 28 years and was denied endorsements. Wanna see what I used?
