Morten Løwe Sørensen is a drummer from Denmark and has played with a wide variety of bands in the metal scene and beyond. He has toured/played/recorded with bands like Scarve, Soilwork, Hatesphere, Nightrage, The Cleansing, Rex Satanachia, Icon In Me, Transparent, Instant Carnage, and The Arcane Order. Morten has also been a member of Amaranthe since 2008. Morten has been listed on our website since September 2008 and has been known to play drum clinics for Tama and Meinl.
Jeanne E. Thomas recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Morten to discuss drums, drummers, and drumming… Here is what he had to say.

In 2019, Amaranthe announced their signing to Nuclear Blast Records along with an extensive North American Tour and a new album in 2020!
In 2020 the band joined Swedish Heavy Metal war machine Sabaton for “The Great Tour” with 22 shows across Europe.
