Matt Johnson Drummer of the midwest heavyweight Death Metal band Gorgatron lays down a track for the newest single ‘Usurpation’ off of the forthcoming album Pathogenic Automation. Matt is currently active/touring in Gorgatron (2007-Present) and Rottenness (2018-Present). Matt’s influences include Derek Roddy, John Longstreth, Zach Simons, George Kollias, Ken Bedene, and Gene Hoglan.
Gorgatron is a Death Metal band based out of Fargo, North Dakota. The band has a new album entitled Pathogenic Automation, set for release August of 2020 via Blood Blast Distribution. Gorgatron’s sound is based on a “love of the riff” approach to writing and rooted in the old-school stylings of Death Metal and Thrash. For fans of Suffocation, Morbid Angel, Necrophagist, Hate Eternal, Origin, Skinless, Goatwhore, Nile, Etc…
