Manne Flood – Warfect – Pestilence Drum Play-through

Gothenburg born drummer, Manne Flood, was introduced to music in an early age due to his father being a professional jazz musician. Born in 1992 he accompanied his father to jazz concerts and big band performances. He started to play the drums age 13 and was mainly focusing on rock and metal right at the get go. This is a genre he has stayed true to ever since. In 2011 he joined Gothenburg based thrash metal act Zombiekrig with whom he recorded two singles in 2020.

With Swedish lyrics the group have gained a strong local fan base and live performances in the hometown are usually popular. In 2015 he founded doom metal band Bell with whom he released an album in 2017. Most notably however, is joining Uddevalla thrash metal outfit Warfect who got in touch after finding videos of Manne playing on Youtube. He auditioned and officially joined the band in 2013 and has since recorded two studio albums with them. In 2014 Warfect joined Nunslaughter for a European tour, which was his first out of several stints in Europe. He is a hard hitter and uses Pro-mark 5A sticks, Paiste and Zildjan cymbals, Iron Cobra pedals and Gretsch drums.

Swedish thrash metal three-piece Warfect hailing from Uddevalla have been bringing their blackened thrash metal to the hordes for over a decade. The 2013 release Exoneration Denied and Scavengers from 2016 was supported by European tours with Lich King, Vulcano and Nunslaughter, where stages at festivals like SWR Barroselas, Obscene Extreme, In Flammen, Under the Black Sun and Metal Magic were on the bill. The band has been featured in magazines like Metal Hammer, Legacy, Sweden Rock, Close-Up and Rock Tribune. A new album is slated for a late 2020 release.
