Keep of Kalessin have upload the new track entitled “The Awakening” to their Myspace page: www.myspace.com/KeepOfKalessin. The song comes from their forthcoming album Reptilian. Guitarist Obsidian C. commented:
"‘The Awakening‘ is a thrash/epic metal hybrid that has some of my favourite riffs on the album. For instance, the blast chorus riff. It is a good song to introduce for the album because it it shows much of the diversity and variation that is found on this album."
Keep of Kalessin will release their new album, Reptilian, in North America on May 14th (Europe) and June 8th (N. America) via Nuclear Blast Records. The cover art can be viewed below.

A shortened version and rough mix of the new song “The Dragontower” can also be heard on the bands Myspace page. Reptilian is the follow up to Keep of Kalessin’s 2008 release, Kolossus and was recorded once again at their own studio in Trondheim, Norway. Final mixing duties were handled this time around by Daniel Bergstrand.
