Gaza's third full-length album, No Absolutes in Human Suffering (Black Market Activities/Deathwish), will be in-stores on August 28th and is available digitally now. You can stream it here. They will be touring extensively with announcements soon to come.
From drummer Casey Hansen: "Music is about so much more than chops, notes on a sheet, or how elaborate your gear is. They are tools, a means to an end. There are a lot of musicians out there that lose sight of what it's all supposed to ultimately be about: FEELING.
My approach (and Gaza's) is to use whatever means necessary to achieve that end. I am an arm to an entity, and luckily for me, I am given a lot to work with.

Casey's Gear:
- DW Finish Ply bass drum 20" x 24" and toms 10" x 13" and 16" x16"
- Ludwig Black Magic snare 6.5" x 14" live and God City Instruments Titanium snare 7" x 13" in the studio
- Sabian HHX 14" hi-hats (stage bottom, Evolution top), 19" and 20" crashes (usually Sabian AAXplosions, sometimes a Zildjian A Custom in the mix), Zildjian Z Custom Mega Bell Ride (21", 2nd generation)
- Pearl Eliminator double pedal
- Evans ST snare head, coated G2's for toms, and EQ3 bass drum head (generally)
- 2B drumsticks
Pardon my brevity, but I hope the music I help create says more than words can. It's also not often I'm provided a pedestal like this. My thanks to Sick Drummer for that."
