Narcotic Wasteland is a brutal death metal project started by Dallas Toler-Wade of Nile, which we hope will be released this Fall. After going through a couple of drummer auditions and working with Duane Timlin for a while before he got busy with other obligations (currently touring with Sacrificial Slaughter – ex: Dying Fetus, Divine Empire, Forest of Impaled), Dallas was fortunate enough to find Erik Schultek, an amazing player to say the least.
Erik has 28+ years experience and has studied under such drumming greats as: George Kollias (Nile), Derek Roddy (Hate Eternal/Serpents Rise), Mike Johnston (independent), Andols Herrick (Chimaira), and Kevin Talley (Dying Fetus/DAATH/Six Feet Under).

I have composed, recorded, and played with numerous artists throughout the years and in 2009, finally completed the construction of my own private studio (“Level 3 Studios”), which allows me to dedicate my time to recording and teaching drums.
