This drum play-through is drummer, Derek Roddy, playing ‘Artforms of Butchery’ from Bandwhore. A massive collaboration of metal musicians from all over the planet. Featuring over 70 respected artists who have contributed their time and talent to a collection of over 200 extreme metal songs. The material is basically heavy music with aggressive tempo and time changes; with styles rooted in death, black, thrash, doom, prog, etc…
Every song has a different line-up: 15+ drummers, 7+ bass players, 20+ guitar solo shredders, 22+ vocalists, and still adding people all the time.
The timing shifts in this song are insane and Derek just flows through the madness. It’s really fun to watch.
