Using patent-pending proprietary Expandable Cymbal Technology ™, The Creative Cymbal Company (also known as The CCC) have developed a unique cymbal system to suit each and every drummer.
At the heart of the ECT-1 system is a 10″ brass cymbal base, designed to mount various additional cymbal rings, the largest ring taking the cymbal right up to 20 inches. Either ride or crash rings can be added, or a mixture of both types for unique cross-cymbal tones. Additional effects cymbal rings will be available in the near future including riveted rings, gong rings, splash and china rings.
The ECT-1 standard kit comprises two cymbal bases, 5 ride rings and 5 crash rings, and each ring adds another 2 inches to the cymbal. This unprecedented flexibility allows any combination of rides or crashes, from 12″ to 20″. Attaching the ECT-1 cymbal rings could not be easier – simply place each ring on top of the previous ring, and the proprietary magnetic graphene lip will locate and hold firm each successive cymbal expander, transferring 99.9% the energy to each successive ring.
