ABORTED – http://www.goremageddon.be

There are many ways to die but even more to kill as sonic mass murderers ABORTED elaborately explain since their forming back in 1995 and once again explicitly underline on their newest, eighth studio album “The Necrotic Manifesto”. Founding member and vocalist Sven “Svencho” de Caluwé reveals that conceptually “the album is our own take on the sordid tales of the Necronomicon, the “book of the dead”, of corpse drowned in a sauce of gore and fun covered with a good old 80’s slasher vibe.” This idea was congenially transformed into excellent artwork by Par Olofsson, who already created stunning visuals for acts like The Faceless, Exodus, Immolation, Pathology, Immortal and more.

Delicious gory fun aside, musically ABORTED mean dead serious death metal business since day one, delivering their aural blows with a maximum of versatility and hard-hitting brutality successfully melting the technical US school of Suffocation, Cannibal Corpse with the melodic incisions of European flavor obviously inspired by recently returned UK gods Carcass or even Entombed. ABORTED hack, slash, cut, grind, blast, groove, crush, rip, tear, destroy, kill in every way humanely possible and this multi-faceted approach has earned them a dedicated fanbase over the past years.

“The Necrotic Manifesto” – also produced by Jacob Hansen (who already worked with the band e.g. on 2003’s “Goremageddon” and 2011’s “Global Flatline”) – makes no exception and continues in the tradition of its much acclaimed predecessor guaranteeing you maximum gore metal pleasure. Intensity – check, brutality – check, technicality – check, inhuman savage vocals – check, keyboards – nope, bittersweet melodies – hell no, folk elements – get outta here?!?! While remaining true to themselves,

ABORTED still have a couple of macabre surprises in store spicing their renowned and respected killing spree with some bonus-carnage: First up, are guest vocalists Vincent Benett (The Acacia Strain) on “Your Entitlement Means Nothing” and Phlegeton (Wormed) on “Excremental Veracity”, sweet as rot cover versions of the incredible “Funeral Inception” (Suffocation) and “Arise” (Sepultura) as well as an entire card came (!) invented and designed by the band accompanying the album’s limited edition as Svencho details: “The card game starts off with my humble self finding the “Necrotic Manifesto” at a truck stop while taking a dump on tour, reading out passages and unleashing hell on earth. Through the card game players take on the role of a band member or crew member and have to defeat the legions of hell with their maniacal leader: the doctor! All presented with a good dose of dark humor, horror and tons of internal jokes which will get players to know the members of the band a bit better and more personal.”

Ready to shed blood and spread gallons of guts across the globe, the live Armageddon known as ABORTED will first tour the US with Kataklysm in April, followed by European release shows in May before selected mass executions during the upcoming festival season. So, better believe the self appointed “Gurgloroth” Sven de Caluwé when he says “get ready mankind, ABORTED is coming right at ya!”

AIRLINES OF TERROR – http://www.airlinesofterror.com

Airlines of Terror were founded by guitarist/vocalist Demian Cristiani in 2006 in Rome, Italy.

They started as an experimental/noise/grind act. By 2010 they had drifted towards extreme metal with the release of the debut album “Blood Line Express” when bassist Paolo Rossi (Fleshgod Apocalypse) and drummer Giuseppe Orlando (The Foreshadowing/Novembre) joined the band.

As Paolo Rossi had to focus on his primary band AOT recruited bassist Emanuele Calvelli and additional guitarist Fabrizio Agabiti.

With this line up they started to record their second album which is now ready and unreleased.

The song “U.F.O.=Tesla” is the first single off the album and the band is looking for a suitable label to release it.

ARMAGEDDON – https://www.facebook.com/ArmageddonBand

Buffalo, NY’s trio Armageddon is not your typical modern metal act. Despite 2/3 of the group being under 18 (the drummer is only 13!), Armageddon carries a presence far beyond their years. With a sound blending all aspects of tasteful metal, the band stays true to their roots. Fast thrash parts mixed with ripping melodic lead guitars, classic metal vocals, and technical time changes round out Armageddon’s repertoire.

After the release of their 2014 EP “Age of Darkness” on Vile Records, Armageddon started to draw the attention of national acts. Having shared the stage with such bands as Battlecross, Machine Head, and Testament, Armageddon is already making a name for themselves worth taking seriously. In fall 2014 they recorded a new single with producer Nick Bellmore (Toxic Holocaust, Kingdom of Sorrow), which will be featured on their 2015 EP release.

“Don’t let their ages fool you – these boys can f@cking shred!” Joe Sullivan, MetalRules.com.

BEYOND CREATION – https://www.facebook.com/BeyondCreationOfficial

Beyond Creation have returned with their highly-anticipated second album ‘Earthborn Evolution’. The Montreal-based quartet have evolved into a stunning archetype for the next generation of progressive, technical metal bands.

Within their intrepid sense of arrangement, frenetic riffs and sweeping melodies give way to majestic solo passages as world-class songs explode with emotional crescendos. As “Elusive Psychological Reverence”, “The Great Revelation”, and the title track suggest, ‘Earthborn Evolution’ is more than just a technical death metal. It’s a testament to the boundless creativity of modern, progressive metal.

IMPURITY – http://www.impurityband.com

The band has undergone many lineup changes through the years, the current lineup consisting of Damian Scott (Vocals), Jeremy Caldwell (Guitars), Mike Lindenmuth (Guitars), Darby Salter (Bass), and Mike Shaw (Drums).

As of 2014, the band has released 2 EP’s, 1 LP, 1 Promo, and is set to release a second full-length in the coming months. The release details are as follows:

Subjugation of Mankind (1999 EP, Self-Released)
Unearthly Affinity (2003 EP, Nuclear Winter Records)
Of Lust and War (2007 LP, Butchered Records)
Promo 2009 (3-Song Promo, Self-Released)
Reign or Ruin (2015 LP, Coming Soon)

Impurity has shared the stage with well-known acts such as Deicide, Amon Amarth, Malevolent Creation, and many others. The band has had extensive experience with live performances, but has not yet toured outside of the state.

In early 2012, the band tracked drums and guitars at Diet of Worms Studios. After spending a day in the studio, Shaw and Scott took the material to Shaw’s home-based studio and collaborated on the project’s various stages. The work done in Shaw’s studio entailed recording the vocals & bass guitar for all of the songs, and with assistance from Scott, Shaw then completed the mixing and mastering processes, effectively completing the project in October of 2014. During this time, Justin Wood, who had handled drum duties on the recording, parted ways with the band and was replaced by Shaw, who had recorded bass guitars for the release.

Set for release in 2015, the second full-length album “Reign or Ruin” promises to serve as a foul treat from this long-standing Florida death metal powerhouse. Fans of death metal’s early days are sure to be quite pleased by this latest offering, which cleverly combines elements found in both the new and old school death metal styles.

ORGANISED CHAOS – http://www.organisedchaos.be

In 2011 Mathias and Bizon started a Band and were looking for a bass player and a singer. and at the same time Jeffrey and Lucas had a band and were looking for a drummer and a second guitar player. On a cold decembernight in our local metal club , Negasonic, Lucas said: let’s join each other we’re exactly what you need and vise versa! And so we did! and we named the band Organised Chaos.

In March 2012 we started rehearsing together and by 17th of november we had 6 songs ready for our first show which was ‘Bizonfest 2012’ held in the Negasonic which we played together with Suspected Concussion.

We rehearsed some more, we played some more shows and then Lucas decided that singing and playing guitar was a bit difficult to do together and we decided to look for a Lead singer to join us.

We All immediatly said: let’s ask Jean whom we have known for quite a while, and he said yes. In April of 2014 he joined us for rehearsals and on the 22nd of august 2014 he played his first full show with us.

Only a month later in september we started Recording our EP called “Hell in Paradise.”

SYMBOLIC (Germany) – http://www.symbolic-music.de

Playing Death Metal – unique – melodic – progressive. Bands such as Death, Illdisposed or Arch Enemy can be used to give you a little clue of the direction of Symbolic´s sound. At live concerts, the band´s slogan is “plug´n´play” – authentic – stirring – dynamic.

They made their debut in 2006 with the album ENIGMA, a free agent release which got positive reviews in diverse magazines. Having had interim line-up problems during the years before, a constant member structure emerged in 2009 and the second album SCARVEST (2011) was released via TWILIGHT-DISTRIBUTION.

After the release of SCARVEST – which has earned consistently positive reactions – the chance was given to play at the STRONG ATTITUDE TOUR through Europe together with Ektomorf.

As logical consequence, the third album OMNIDESCENT was recorded. The follow-up of SCARVEST was released through REMISSION RECORDS and contains 10 tracks. On one of them SVEN DE CALUWÈ from ABORTED had a guest appereance. Considering the press, SYMBOLIC have notched up their performance even further.

THE MODERN AGE SLAVERY – http://www.themodernageslavery.com

Formed in 2007 they gained unanimous critical acclaim from the international press with receiving the “Demo on the Month” award in Rock Hard Germany. With the release of their debut album “Damned to Blindness” in 2008, the band delivered a relentless album that took no prisoners and made THE MODERN AGE SLAVERY infamous in the underground scene. Offering no remorse from grinding blast beats, merciless brutal vocals, and slaughtering rapid fire double bass, “Damned to Blindness” was followed with a year’s worth of touring of Europe, ending with joining the “Evisceration Plague Tour” featuring CANNIBAL CORPSE, DYING FETUS & OBSCURA and the “Doomsday X Tour” featuring MALEVOLENT CREATION and VOMITORY.

THE MODERN AGE SLAVERY finally entered Domination Studio in April 2012 to record the second album with producer Simone Mularoni. The band took a brief break from the studio to join SUICIDE SILENCE on their 2012 Italian Tour.

THE MODERN AGE SLAVERY signed a worldwide deal in late 2012 with the newly reformed PAVEMENT ENTERTAINMENT, a legend label that released the classics of such bands as CROWBAR, MALEVOLENT CREATION, THE GATHERING, and KREATOR among others.

With the last album titled “Requiem For Us All”, THE MODERN AGE SLAVERY has pushed their death metal war machine over the limit this time with a fierce mix of blazingly fast drumming, technical riffing, epic atmospheres, and crushing groove.

According to Guitarist Simone Bertozzi “Requiem For Us All is the blueprint for modern life and our declaration of war to a generation that stole our future.
