Originally formed in the summer of 2009 in upstate NY, Armadian has gone through a number of lineup changes, but in early 2011 settled on the solid team of Brett Bannen on vocals, Benji Molina and Montgomery Mercado sharing guitar duties and Ryan Hilerio behind the kit.

With influences ranging from Despised Icon to Origin, Armadian blends the technicality of modern death metal  with the catchy melody of progressive metal to create a brand of crushing deathcore unlike any other.

With the addition of bassist Victor Garcia, the band is hard at work on their debut EP which will surely be a favorite of metal fans worldwide.

Beaten To Death was formed by Martin Rygge, Tommy Hjelm (both normally heard handling guitar-duties in Oslo-based metal quartet Insense) and drummer Christian “Bartender” Svendsen (also the relentless drumming machine in Tsjuder, The Cumshots, Grimfist and Gothminister), with Mika Martinussen and vocalist Anders Bakke (the latter well-known in the metal community after years of fronting the mighty She Said Destroy) completing the line-up.

On September 26th 2011 the band released their first album on Mas-Kina Recordings, consisting of 9 songs, 1 second of silence, and 18 min 36 sec of gritty but strangely catchy grindcore – all recorded 100 % live at the bands rehearsal room during one weekend (except the vocals which were recorded a few days later)

Machine gun drums, ferocious guitars, snarling bass and intense vocals is the foundation of the B2D-sound. Add hauntingly beautiful harmonies and a brutal groove, and what you have is an infectious collection of deadly grind you won’t be able to sit still to, no-matter what your taste in music happens to be!

BRAINDAMAGEwww.braindamage-band.com

Braindamage was born on February 29th 1988.. After some gigs in the area, the band recorded his first demo tape Kingdom of madness who sold 1200 copies all over Europe and world, a real breakthrough for an Italian metal band. This deserved them to participate at the first Underground Thrashfest in Ludwigsburg, supporting Leprocy, Atrocity and Pestilence. The band had a lot of good reviews, especially from European magazines and some air resonance in US radios as well.

In 1989 they recorded  a demo for  Dracma  label produced by Geordie Walker of Killing Joke, then their first single Watching the bleeding mouth whom they started touring Europe and UK with Killing Joke with and Loud with. After a month across the old continent they got back to Italy and started the first Italian metal tour called Italian assault, with Broken Glazz and Headcrasher.

In 1992 their first CD, Signal de revolta, Steve Albini, the guru of noise-industrial behind the desk, introduced to the band by Killing Joke. The album is one of the most controversial and avveniristic release of the decade, metal music twenty years far in the future. New gigs in Europe, entusiastic reviews but lack of mass reconnaissance, then the first line-up problems.

1995 is the year of The turning point, that should have still Albini's production, but time does not match with different tasks and the release got under the supervision of Carlo Rossi: The CD is a descent to hell, heavy thrash amidst the fog of eighteenth century, Anglo-Saxon literature and th e shadow of Sandy Pearlman and his historical delirium to move the cloche. The cover of Blue Oyster Cults' Flaming thelepaths is the high watermark of the release.

In 1997 the band should be touring Europe again, after been gigging  with thrash lords as Kreator and Voivod, but due to problems with headlining band Six Feet Under and with the Belgian promoter the tour is canceled . The band went to Germany to record a promo at Spacelab Studios of Everon's progrock German band Oliver Phillips. This went to be the pre-production of their third CD, Collapse , the return to the origins and the primal fire who made them one of the most peculiar metal bands in the scene. Collapse seemed to gave the band back its glory and so they returned to think big, the band resolved to direct his new efforts towards Germany again, where Oliver Phillips awaited them…

The new album War Against The Almighty: Remote conspiracy is one step beyond Braindamage’s limits especially in terms of lyrics, always visionary but very critic, anti-dogmatic and fistrising against God and religion, NOT Satanistic, just trying to develop a neo-humanistic view of life. The new line-up brings new blood and ideas, maintaining the same old professional attitude that gave respect to the band all over Europe, even from bands most renowned as Voivod and Killing Joke. The production is well accepted by the critics and this lead to the second part of  "War against the almighty" : The Impostor.Back to the roots and forward to extreme aggression, the cd has been produced again by Carlo Ortolano, previous producer of Collapse.  The band has pushed itself to the limit creating what is possibly the best performance ever. Then again the band, after ten years of calm, changed.  Andrea and Gigi recruited Gee Anzalone, recently shortlisted for Forbidden’s  drums auditions and Alex Mischinger, from Italian outfit Scream Three days. Within two months a couple of gigs, a new video and the track you are going to listen to: As fool as god is, revamping the name and attitude of Braindamage, too tough to give up.

Gigi Giugno: guitars
Alex Mischinger: guitars
Gee Anzalone: drums
Andrea: bass/vox

CARACH ANGRENwww.carach-angren.com

The Dutch masters of horror are back! CARACH ANGREN will take you to the hell of war with their mind blowing third full-length "Where The Corpses Sink Forever". With bold strokes of eerily shimmering and whirring guitars, scratching dashes of fiercely rasping vocals, dabs of precisely rattling drums and a wide palette of grey and black sound hues, the trio creates dark portraits of supernatural landscapes that rival the masterful craftsmanship of Rembrandt, Bruegel and Vermeer in their vivid imagery and depth of detail. What started in the year 2004 with the paranormal cases of demo "The Chase Vault Tragedy" and soon after the "Ethereal Veiled Existence" EP (2005) quickly turned into the full blown local haunting of "Lammendam" (2008), which was followed by a stormy journey onboard a cruel ghost vessel entitled "Death Came Through A Phantom Ship" (2010). Although their music is clearly based on Black Metal, CARACH ANGREN developed a style on their own, more flamboyant and openly theatrical, which perfectly fits the cinematic horror concepts of the Dutch. This originality has been well received by critics and fans alike right from the beginning and CARACH ANGREN also gained a reputation as an excellent live act. Now it is time to open a new and even darker chapter with "Where The Corpses Sink Forever". Let these ghosts of war drag you under their irresistible spell!

GLASS DIMENSIONSwww.glassdimensions.bandcamp.com

Song Title: Genetic Harvest
Album Title: The Genetic Harvest

From the small town of Yuma, AZ: A town of, seemingly, limited opportunity, while at the same time being separated from any major city by almost 200 miles of baron, almost uninhabitable desert, Glass Dimensions was somehow formed.

At the tail end of 2010, best friends Kaylib Jones, John Kelly and David Tirado were introduced to Rick Najera, who had moved to Yuma only shortly before their meeting. It wasn't long until he became a welcomed regular in the group of friends. Early into the following year, Glass Dimensions would begin practicing feverishly, with the intention of making a name for themselves in the small, but developing, scene their town had to offer. By bringing together a unique culmination of musical influences and ideas, they were able to do just that, allowing them to play shows as often as possible.

In November, the guys took a trip to San Diego to try their hand out at a studio recording. The end result became known as The Genetic Harvest EP, which was met with many positive reviews in their hometown. While this was a good start, it was only just that, a start.

Yet to experience the many trials of a seasoned band, the guys understand that they have much to learn, and are more than eager to face those challenges head-on.

GORGATRONwww.gorgatron.com

Gorgatron is a metal band proudly hailing from Fargo, ND. Basically the brain-child of Paul Johnson, the band started in late 2005 or early 2006 as a recording project while Paul and Neal Stein were playing together in another band at the time. Back then, it was just the two of them with Paul laying down the riffs and vocals and Neal operating a drum machine and a bottle of whiskey. A couple line-up experiments led to the first three piece lineup which brought in drummer Matt Johnson, Neal on guitar, and Paul on Vocals/Bass in the summer of 08'. From there they began blasting their way across the midwest and building a fanbase.

Over the next few years brought many shows including opening slots for notable bands such as Goatwhore, The Black Dahlia Murder, as well as having some crossover appeal with the punk/crust crowd in opening for the legendary Murder Junkies. Also along the way they released their debut full length album "Torturetorium" in 2010.  Early 2012 brought a lineup change when Neal decided to leave the band. In order to keep the train a rollin' it was time to play a bit of musical chairs as Paul moved to guitar duties. Fellow grind freaks Cliff Gustafson (bass), and Karl Schmidt (vocals) were recruited to complete the current lineup. The summer of 2012 is bringing many shows around the region, and a plan to enter the studio in late fall to begin work on their 2nd full length album.

Despite lineup changes the sound and approach to Gorgatron remain the same. Not concerned with trying to technically outplay other bands within the extreme genre, the focus is more to write songs that are equal parts heavy, brutal, and catchy. Beckoning influence from early 90's FL death metal bands as well as the early thrash/crossover bands.

I WILL BREAK THEEwww.iwillbreakthee.com

I Will Break Thee is a metal band hailing from Orlando FL. The formation of the band begain in 2009 with Shane Bryant (Vocals) and Justin Lunsford (Guitar). Influences of Lamb Of God, Pantera, and Opeth are quite apparent in their songs with heavy groove and flow added into the mix. Marc Sugarman (Keyboards) and Rafiq Basaria (Guitar) were added to the team in the summer of 2010 and Daniel Blume (Drums) and Jared Golden (bass) were brought in, in the summer of 2011 respectively after recording had already begun.

As a 4 piece the band began writing music for their debut EP in the fall of 2010, with recording set to begin in Jan of 2011. Not able to find a drummer locally, I Will Break Thee recruited drummer Andols Herrick (Ex-Chimaira) to help record their debut "Welcome To My Kingdom" for a world wide release in the fall of 2011. I Will Break Thee has worked hard to create a brand of Metal that they believe they can call their own.  Look for them to continue writing and creating music for all to enjoy.

ORAL FISTFU@Kwww.oralfistfuck.ch

Well if the name doesn’t tell you then the music certainly will, Oral Fistfuck are brutal death metal in the extreme. The band who formed in 2005 in Winterthur, Switzerland have been terrorizing the local music scene and creating a lot of noise. Bombastic blast beats, brutal/death styled vocals dripping in venom and guitar riffage that is guaranteed to rip the skin from your ears. Listening to Oral Fistfuck is not for the faint hearted as these guys mean business and that comes through in their music. Lightning fast and devastating everything in its way, so stand back and behold this brutal tidal wave of technical metal.

Ultimately Oral Fistfuck is about brutality, speed, innovation and progress. They have styled themselves on modern technical and brutal death bands without despising the oldschool qualities. Hardcore influences give the fast and brachial sound the necessary groove.

Oral Fistfuck is an amalgam of all of these sounds and styles and this has resulted in what can only be described as technical and brutal death metal from a musical standpoint. Lyrically the band are also quite unique in this genre as they have tended to steer clear of the gore and blood aspects and instead are lyrically fuelled by mysticism and magic from Crowley through to Abramelin, with mantras and the more spiritual side surfacing in the lyrics rather than blood and gore driven subject matter.

The sound:

Just think raw, hardcore brutality. The overall sound comes from five guys with five different backgrounds melding it all together into a single focused beam of chaos. Kevin brings years of grind and punk into the mix from his Brutal Truth and Venomous Concept projects, but adds a little taste of the south coming from his Atlanta roots. Add to that a little of Billy K's technical brilliance from his years in Mastodon and before that Lethargy, along with a solid punk background and you get complex harmonies on top of brutal riffage. Dave pulls out a couple decades of hardcore punk thunder and a solid grindcore base coming from his background of solidifying Atlanta punk and hardcore bands Timebomb77, The Despised and grindcore legends Otophobia. Mike adds brutality and technicality from his days w/ The Despised, Otophobia and his current other band Javelina. Then tying it all together is drummer Shayne who hails from a couple decades of hardcore punk roots playing with and writing for Atlanta's The Despised, Bloody Sods and playing with NYC's Virulent Strain. The writing is done by everyone in the band so everyone's styles are interjected to create a solid blend of "stoner grind meets Swedish/Japanese hardcore…"

The vision:

Kicking ass and flighting poo….

Don't think that because of who's in the band we're going to sound just like any one of our other bands. Sure, there are elements of Mastodon, Brutal Truth, Venomous Concept, The Despised, Otophobia, Javelina and others in our writing, but this band is a unique creation completely separate from any of those bands. The whole reason we started this band was to do something different and new. If you want to hear one of our other bands that's great, buy that band's album. If you want to hear what happens when a bunch of monkeys start playing brutal hardcore/punk with stoner metal and grindcore parts listen to PRIMATE! You won't be disappointed!

Scourge is a three peice metal powerhouse that has been taking the Boston metal scene by storm. The band was founded by Jeremy Pastick in 2004. Since then, Scourge has been dedicated to bringing you a brutal mix of complex melodies, contrasting harmonies, old school thrash riffs, boot-to-the-throat vocals, and pounding drum rhythms that brings a full, well-rounded sound that many of the areas four and five peice acts lack.

Scourge has played all over Massachusetts, pouring their blood, sweat, and tears into their incredible live show. Playing at such respected venues as The Middle East, The Palladium, Great Scott and many more, Scourge has also had the privilege of sharing the stage with some of the best local acts that metal has to offer including Thy Will Be Done, Vital Remains, and Acaro.

TYRANNY ENTHRONEDwww.facebook.com/tyrannyenthroned

Tyranny Enthroned is blackened-death metal band hailing from St. Louis, Missouri. Starting in 2006 as a solo project turned full line-up in 2007 with Winston Alvarez(guitars) Jesse McCoy(guitars/backing vocals) Anthony George(bass guitar) Ryne Jones(lead vocals) and later recruiting Steve Lee(Drums) to begin playing live shows. Winston Alvarez leading in a different musical direction and parted ways with the rest of the band. The remaining four continued playing local shows and began to build a fan base, the band decided to record an E.P. "Eulogy" at firebrand recording.

E.p. in hand, Tyranny Enthroned would later perform alongside grindcore legends PHOBIA, and Putrid Pile at the “Mid American Metal Fest” in 2008, promoting their anti-theistic themes and philosophies to a broader audience. With solid music and recording, the band would share the stage with bands such as Origin, Vital Remains, and Goatwhore. After opening for Origin a second time, the band was discovered by Scott Fuller of Abysmal Dawn also on the tour and a proposition was made.

In the spring of 2012, Ryne Jones was let go from the band due to personal and musical differences. Tyranny returned to Firebrand Studios alongside Scott Fuller's Trench Studios/Sinminister Productions to begin recording their debut full-length "Born of Hate" set to release in summer 2012. Their debut album "Born of Hate" bends the traditional confines of blackened death metal with sadistic precision and technical loathing. After recording, the band brought Winston Alvarez back in to the group. Now with Steve lee(drums) Anthony George(bass) Jesse McCoy(guitars/lead vocals) and Winston Alvarez(guitars/backing vocals) the band has a driven and focused lineup.

Tyranny Enthroned is a band bringing a European influenced black/death hybrid style to the United States. Equipped with professional gear and a touring vehicle, Tyranny Enthroned is a force to be reckoned with in the metal scene!
