Here is the first practice video by Battlecross, with Kevin Talley on the kit playing "Man of Stone" on 4/17/2013. Keep in mind, this is just a smaller kit (no floor tom) just for practice purposes. Due to a personal matter, the band has had to push back their performance time from Friday at 3:30 to Saturday at 4:30PM! The band will also be doing a signing session after the NEMF set on Saturday at the Nefarious Realm/Metal Blade Booth. Kevin will also be performing with Battlecross at The Orion Music & More Festival (6/08-6/09) with performance times to be announced at a later date.
Drummer Mike Kreger has parted ways with the band to focus on some new opportunities and attend to personal business. Battlecross will announce their new permanent member once a final decision has been made.
Battlecross has completed work on their sophomore album, which will be due out this summer during their tour as part of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, where the band will perform on the Jagermeister Stage. Recording has been completed with Mark Lewis, Eyal Levi and Jason Suecof of Audiohammer Studios, Orlando Florida and the finishing touches are being applied to the tracks and art. During tracking, one of metal's most acclaimed drummers, Shannon Lucas, stepped in to record the drums.
