Drummer Andrew Baird and his percussive development began at a young age, rehearsing and performing live with his parents in their entertainment company, Spirit of Polynesia. During this period, he learned the basics of drumming like keeping time, tempo, and dynamics. Having a pretty expansive knowledge of Tahitian and Polynesian drumming, Andrew took this with him into his young adult life.
He later discovered metal during his musical journey and soon became a metal drummer in his local San Francisco music scene. In 2007, he and a young Fallujah joined forces.
Today, Andrew is one of the original members of the band and has been touring around the world since 2009.
He’s also a session/studio drummer, providing drum assistance for bands and artists that need the help, along with providing drum lessons to beginners and intermediates looking to improve their abilities behind the kit.
