The NAMM Show 2018 in Anaheim has been another great year! Here are some of our favorite selects from Axis, TAMA, Istanbul, Ludwig, Mapex, Paiste, DW, PDP, Remo, Sabian, Sonor, Soultone, Trick, TRX, Zildjian, Turkish, VicFirth, and Pearl. We will be adding to this gallery for the next week or so.
The NAMM Show is an annual event in the US that its organizers describe as “the world’s largest trade-only event for the music products industry.” It is held every January in Anaheim, CA, at the Anaheim Convention Center and is one of the two largest music product trade shows in the world. Its European counterpart is the Musik Messe in Frankfurt, Germany. The event attracts thousands of famous musicians, many of whom are there to support their endorsing companies and to network and have fun. The events, concerts and impromptu jam sessions that happen at NAMM are what makes it so special. It really is something you need to experience if you can.
Founded in 1901, “NAMM” stands for the National Association of Music Merchants, although, since its inception, NAMM has evolved from a national retail association into an international association whose members now include commercial companies, distributors, affiliates, and manufacturers.
