The New Fairfield, CT born band, Emmure is set to hit the studio to record their Victory Records Debut CD Dec. 1st with famed producer Zeuss. With an extensive credit list Zeuss has worked with some of the biggest and most influential hardcore and metal bands on the market such as Staind, Hatebreed and Unearth to name just a few. "We are so happy and honored to be working with Zeuss on this first record, he is such an icon to kids like us, we feel like we cant go wrong" proclaimed Guitarist Ben Lionetti. He also adds "Expect something big, this record is going to be flat out brutal, nothing like what you've heard before. All of our emotions and feeling are in these songs. We want and are going to be the heaviest!"
In 2006 the band released their first EP called "The Complete Guide To Needlework" which quickly placed them along such national acts as The Acacia Strain, Ion Dissonance and Remembering Never. And permantly engraving their spot in the hardcore scene. Ultimatley reaching the hands of Victory Records owner Tony Brummell, they had a deal! "This is aggressive music for what many feel are frustrating times. There are many negative ways to deal with frustration in one's life. Emmure provides a positive alternative. Sonically and emotionally they reflect the power that music can have." exclaims Tony. With Victory Records at their side this is sure to be one of the most anticipated albums of the year.
