I've been playing guitar for 20 years. Can't read a single note! All by ear. I started with a Roland Dr-660 (I still have it!), Now, I use ToonTrack libraries -exclusively- D.F.H.S. || C&V || and EZ Drummer. I pencil all my notes in, even though I have a Novation ReMote 25. I use Logic Pro and my main go to plug-ins for my drum sounds are from PSP/ Waves SSL bundle/ and Metric Halo. I know some of THEE best Death Metal drummers in the World personally! And they are my inspiration to make my drums sound as 'real' as possible!
