My name is Josh Zupovitz, and I have been playing drums for about 6-7 years now. I got my first drum kit as a Christmas present from my parents. Everyday after school I would come home to play along with my favorite CD’s, I would do that for hours without stopping and I never got tired of it. One of my friends had the same interests in music as I did and he played guitar. We would play covers all the time and just make up stuff. As time passed we really wanted to start a band. About two yeas ago after finding the right people our band was formed and we practiced in my basement. The name of our band is called In Alcatraz 1962. As soon as we had a couple songs written we started playing shows. We now play all over Northern Virginia and have a large fan base. I still enjoy playing drums as much as when I first started.
