On August 25th 2013, we had our first event at the Sabian Cymbals and Axis Percussion Sponsored Sick Drummer Studio in San Francisco, California. This event, which was free to attend, was an hour long Question/Answer session with Francesco Paoli of Fleshgod Apocalypse and Shawn Priest of Arsis during the tour with Wintersun.
We have broken the video into two parts, the second of which will be released in conjuction with our upcoming 27th Issue Cover Feature with Francesco Paoli. In this first video the guys talk about things like the balance, stability, settings, tension, beater adjustments and other characteristics of their pedals. They also discuss heel-toe, practicing, stretching, shoes, George Kollias and much more. Stay tuned for more video from our studio space coming soon!
