Paul Wandtke began his drumming career at the age of eleven by performing around Chicago with numerous groups. He has performed in all types of musical settings including jazz, latin, blues, rock, progressive rock, metal, fusion, dance, punk, ska, musical theatre, and electronica. He is best known for his drumming assault with former progressive metal-core group “A Texas Funeral” Chicago IL and for his excellent display of showmanship and solo/double bass drum technique.
Paul Wandtke currently resides in Boston Massachusetts where he is furthering his musical studies at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. The teachers that he has studied with are Mike Mangini, Rod Morgenstein, Skip Hadden, Kenwood Denhard, and many more.
