MASTODON will be the featured guests on Sirius Satellite Radio's Hard Attack for an hour of controlled chaos with host José Mangin. Join the sick and twisted Brent Hinds and Brann Dailor on Friday, September 15 at 8:00 p.m. as they explore the entrails of their major label debut, "Blood Mountain", discuss life on the road with SLAYER, the current headlining trek with CONVERGE and THE BRONX, face tattoos, tiki carving, and what the dudes do for fun when they’re not turning heads with their brand of seasick and hallucinogenic heavy metal. It's an hour of insanity, comedy and, of course, killer sounds from the belly of MASTODON's latest release and friends, SLAYER, LAMB OF GOD, MELVINS and BRUJERIA.

As previously reported, MASTODON's video for the song "The Wolf is Loose" can be viewed by clicking here. The track comes off "Blood Mountain", which came out yesterday (Tuesday, September 12) via Warner Bros. Records.
The "The Wolf is Loose" video was shot on August 12 with director Jonathan Rej (FURTHER SEEMS FOREVER, STRETCH ARMSTRONG), who worked with the band on the video for "Blood and Thunder" from 2004's "Leviathan".
MASTODON launched a tour in support of the album on September 6 in Baltimore, with dates scheduled through October 7 in Atlanta; THE BRONX and CONVERGE are opening the gigs. Then, the band will take off for a month (guitarist Bill Kelliher's got a baby on the way) before heading to Europe for a headlining run there, according to MTV.com. Dailor said MASTODON will be touring the States again in early 2007, with plans to stay on the road for much of the year.
