The band worked on four of the songs today three were production songs… One was completely new, written by Jason Blachowicz yesterday. He brought down the riffs today and they completed the song. It's in the same vein of Stillborn. All the songs are going good so far, Dave's new Paiste cymbals will be there tomorrow and they are still scheduled to start recording the drum tracks on friday or saturday. Hopefully listening to them on Sunday, make any changes Monday and fly home Tuesday.
Dave thinks the music is Sick! This record is more of a collaberation of all the members. Phil usually writes about 90% of the songs. Dave had a great vibe tonight being they have the original line up and everyone is contributing to the writing of the music.
Dave and John are not the "original line up" but, is what many consider to be the "Best" line up. Dave thinks this album is going to Kill! It has been 12 years since he jammed with Jay and they worked great together. Song writing is going smooth and the first song's pre-production went great. More to come…. Paula
