About The Fest:
The true core of Thrash Metal is found in one place, the San Francisco Bay Area and was widely attributed as a starting point of American Thrash Metal. Spawning the likes of Metallica, Slayer, Testament, Death Angel and Exodus.
Many bands that got their start here in the past and have become the Legends of today. Slaughter by the Water calls on the greats and brings them to perform on one bill just as they did back in the 80’s. only this time, the stages are bigger and crowds have grown.
Created by Brian and Nick, Slaughter by the Water had it's first show in April of 2010. The show was incredibly successful in attendance of 900 thrash metal fans from around the Bay area by popular demand, the Bay Area demanded another one.
So break out your denim vest, grab your leather Jacket and get ready to circle pit like it's 1986 all over again. Slaughter by the Water will make a splash heard around the world.
Along side these legends, Slaughter by the Water bring the best bands of today that carry the flag of Thrash Metal and puts them on stage with their idols.
