2012 NAMM Show – Axis Percussion – Microtune Spring Tensioning System

This year at NAMM 2012, Axis Percussion released another very smart and well-designed product, the Microtune Spring Tensioning System. This new tensioning mechanism allows ease of adjustment, as well as a much greater degree of precision and accuracy in fine scale tuning. The "slide tensioner" delivers resolution over 2.5 times more precisely than before, and provides a greater tension range from Axis Percussion's extension springs. They have also added a ball-bearing swivel on the lower end of the spring for a little extra freedom and the Halo Design prevents the spring from twisting or becoming out of alignment. This can be added to any existing Axis pedal, be it single or double.
