Sepultura will be headlining a North American tour which launches this fall in support of their forthcoming album, The Mediator Between Head And Hands Must Be The Heart. Joining Sepultura on the “Tsunami Of Metal” Tour will be Boston’s Unearth, Canada’s Kataklysm, Joey Jordison’s Scar The Martyr (select dates), British Columbia’s Anciients (select dates), and openers Dark Sermon from Florida.
“It’s going to be an amazing experience to start the celebration of a 30-year career with the strongest album we’ve ever made in our history,” states Sepultura guitarist/songwriter Andreas Kisser about the upcoming 19-show trek. “Can't wait to perform the songs from the new album on stage! We are coming back to America and Canada with full force and with a hunger to destroy everything! It will be a tsunami of metal!!! See you all on the road!”
The sonic tidal wave will strike Hollywood, California on November 1st and travel across the U.S. and Canada before touching down in Austin, Texas on November 24th.

Featuring charcoal art by Brazilian artist Alexandre Wagner, The Mediator Between Head And Hands Must Be The Heart was recorded with renowned producer Ross Robinson (KORN, MACHINE HEAD, FEAR FACTORY), who worked with SEPULTURA on their landmark 1996 release Roots, and co-produced by Steve Evetts (THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, SYMPHONY X, INCANTATION), who previously worked on SEPULTURA’s Roorback (2003), the Revolusongs EP (2002), and Nation (2001).
