Sadrac Murillo is a Mexican extreme drummer born in Tijuana, Baja California. Drumming since age 13, he developed s passion for metal drumming while learning and playing covers of bands like Dimmu Borgir, Satyricon, Deicide, Cannibal Corpse, and many other metal bands that influenced his style.
After playing in several local bands, in 2016 Dr. Murillo joined one of the most prolific Mexican grindcore acts “Thanatology” which took him outside of his country to play extreme festivals like Chicago Domination, Gutterchrist Fest, and the world-renowned Obscene Extreme Festival in the Czech Republic. After the former band split up, Dr. Murillo and his bandmates formed Unidad Trauma which is an elevated version of everything they all had done before.
Playing a tour with Cattle Decapitation, Masters Of Grind Festival in Belgium, and several dates across the country.
“Arte Médica Siniestra” is Unidad Trauma’s first offering and the band is currently getting ready to enter the studio later this year to work on a relentless full-length album.
A few words from drummer, Sadrac Murillo… “Recording this EP was definitely a lot of fun and overall a learning experience. Working with a producer who is also a drummer helps a lot of ideas come to life and in this case even though all of the songs were already written before recording them, we still made some changes that resulted in the final product.“33” itself is pretty intense, a lot of blast beats, bomb blasts, double bass, and some rockin’ parts too. One of my favorite songs to play live or even practice.”

2019 was a strange year for underground medicine in Tijuana, Baja California. A series of unfortunate events befell one of the most infamous medical practices in all of Mexico, causing it to abruptly shutter its seedy doors, effectively halting its progress on questionable medical techniques and research.
