Kevin Talley sent SDM this exclusive Suffocation video footage from NYC 12/28/2013. We asked Kevin a few short questions about the situation and what else he is up to.

A few questions for Kevin:
SDM: You've played with many great bands over the years. What was it like to get the call from Suffocation and what has it been like sharing the stage with them?
Kevin: Well I was super-stoked to get the call because I've been friends with all of them for about 15 years and a huge Suffo fan since I was a kid. The songs are super fun to play and all the dudes are super cool.
SDM: Any idea how long you will be drumming with them, if it might become permanent?
Kevin: As most of you know, I'm not into stealing gigs from drummers. The band, and Dave, want me to fill in for now and we aren't sure what the future holds.
SDM: What's your favorite track and what's the most difficult song you've had to learn?
Kevin: As Grace Descends from the new album is Siiiiiiiick!!! And of course Pierced From Within and Funeral Inception are favs of mine as well. Oh yeah… and the first album. Duh!!! haha. Most difficult? They are all the same difficulty level… FUN!
SDM: What else do you have going on for 2014?
