Jeff Willet was featured on our website back in 2006 during his time in the band Aborted Existence and plays many different styles including: death metal, jazz, fusion, progmetal, power metal, drum line and symphonic percussion. Jeff has studied at The Berklee College of Music, and also founded his own project 'The Gathering Mist', featuring instruments from all over the world and known for its seamlessly-flowing yet mind-bending rhythmic patterns and percussive qualities. With a background deeply rooted in show-style drum line, progressive music, music theory, and a sense of musical exploration, Jeff creates a unique musical experience along with the help of guest artists featured on various wind & string instruments on both of The Gathering Mist's two full length albums, written and recorded between 2008 – 2010. This led to the 2012 digital release of both albums together as one Collection album through Bandcamp.com.
