After hanging out backstage at a show in Miami, Former Malevolent Creation members Gus Rios & Jay Black have crossed paths once again and have spontaneously decided to join forces with longtime friend & guitarist Seth Ringler to perform & resurrect the 1995 Malevolent Creation controversial release, ‘ETERNAL!’ The first rehearsal gathering was fun & an absolute success, sounding as brutal, fast, angry and furiously grinding as the day it was released 24 years ago.
Fans have been waiting too long and demanding that Jay Black’s vocals be heard again due to the popularity of this particular era and this historical album. Well, it’s long overdue and now the time has arrived to unleash the band unto the masses under the name ‘ETERNAL!’
A second guitarist is in the works and new songs are already being written which definitely have the vibe, style, and influence to create ETERNAL Part II.
“We’ve Killed before, we’ll Kill again. Animals we are, Not Men.” Stay Tuned Death Metal Freaks, it’s Gonna get Ugly Again!
From drummer, Gus Rios:
I Never thought this would happen, but in death metal NEVER SAY NEVER! I ran into Jay at a Blood Reign gig a couple of weeks ago and his band Doomskull was also playing… we got to chatting and Seth starts humming riffs from ETERNAL and we all start laughing! Literally one “what if” led to another and here we are. We had a ripping rehearsal yesterday and I love playing these songs! Dave Culross was my first and very influential drum teacher and the ETERNAL album has always been very special to me as a reminder of that time in my life… and blast beats rule! Now I say Fuck the past, Fuck the bullshit, and let’s grind. The ETERNAL album is going to be brought back to the stage… we are all BLOOD BROTHERS!
