Create A Kill is a new project from drummer Gus Rios (malevolent creation/upon infliction/resurrection) which marks Gus’ debut as a guitar player and band leader. The vocals written and laid down by Alex Marquez (ex: malevolent creation) are just nasty and a huge part of why we love the sound these guys have created!
This straight up old-school thrash project reminds us of old Slayer or Dark Angel, with a nice grind element thrown into the mix. There is a lot of fast double bass, blast beats and the music itself is pretty evil & dark, yet still refreshing in a strange way.
Also appearing on the debut album to be released this spring are: Dirk Verbeuren (soilwork/bent sea/devin townsend project), Sean Reinert (cynic) and Tobias Gustaffson (vomitory). The record was recorded and produced by Gus Rios.
