Christmas morning 2008 was the inception point of Daniel Cece’s love for drumming when he walked into the room that staged his very first kit. Over a decade later, his passion for percussion has flourished exponentially, becoming the largest part of his life. Daniel currently drums for his progressive technical death metal outfit, Krosis, who has toured the nation with acts such as Inanimate Existence, A Wake In Providence, and more. He currently holds endorsements from Mapex Drums, Soultone Cymbals, Xcel Drumsticks, Vratim, Axis Percussion and DrumDial. Before his expeditions into heavy metal, Daniel was part of his high school jazz band as well as their drumline, where he learned music theory and multi-faceted musical elements that shaped his style of playing into what it is today. Daniel has proudly shared the stage with acts such as Whitechapel, Carnifex, After the Burial, and more, and is a Drums Salesman at Guitar Center when he’s not playing with Krosis. He has been on three studio albums and two standalone singles with Krosis, including Mount of Sacrifice, Solem Vatem, and A Memoir of Free Will.
They recently announced a “Memoir Anthology” trio album release which will feature re-mastered, re-recorded versions of their first two debut albums as well as a new EP coming in 2021.
Below is his brand new official studio drum play-through of his band’s track, “An Intramural Madness”! Video credit belongs to Austin Spruill Design and Creative. Audio mixed and mastered by Zack Dufort at Exodian Studios.

The diverse collaboration of influences that make up the framework of Krosis is why we put out the music that we do. Too much of modern death metal and deathcore is limited to a paradigm; Krosis seeks to eliminate boundaries. With backgrounds of rock, jazz, concert bands, and music theory, we bring together many parts of a musical spectrum to emerge the new being that is Krosis into the hearts of thousands of lovers of heavy, themed music.
Krosis is proud to say that we make every attempt to make every song unique, but undeniably Krosis. There is no element of sacrificing musical quality or production for the sake of simply putting out content, nor do any dreams of grandeur get in the way of focusing on the truly important elements of being in the music industry. We pull no punches in terms of diversity, originality, and heaviness.
