Between The Buried And Me embark on their first North American tour since the release of The Parallax II: Future Sequence this February, joining Coheed and Cambria for a six-week tour that kicks off Feb. 4 in Washington, D.C.
The North Carolina band released the enveloping concept album on Oct. 9 via Metal Blade records with the 12-song release becoming the band's highest-charting album (#22 on the Billboard Top 200) and also marking Between The Buried And Me's biggest one week sales their near decade-long history.
A slew of positive reviews heralded the arrival of the album with Alternative Press saying Between The Buried And Me expanded "on every already-top-notch aspect of its conceptual predecessor," Decibel Magazine declaring the band "one of progressive metal's most singular, unique and genuinely progressive bands" MetalSucks calling The Parallax II a "masterpiece" and Loudwire awarding the album a perfect score and saying it is "quintessentially brilliant" and "a contender for the best metal album of 2012."
