Sick Drummer Magazine and Kevin Paradis of Benighted are pleased to bring you this Benighted ‘Martyr’ play-through video contest, in cooperation with Season of Mist Records and T-Cymbals. Kevin is insane, so we know this is no easy task for any drummer, but give it a try and get your name out there! If you’re already out there and known, give it a shot for fun! We would love to see entries from all levels.

How To Enter:

1. Film your video, using any of the resources available below for download. Your video does not have to include the available tracks, but any of them can be included if you prefer. You can use 1-3 camera angles if able, which would consist of a possible left side view, right side view and a foot view.

If you only have one camera, no problem! Just try to angle it where we can see one side of you and both arms clearly, and with your feet in-frame. An overhead shot may be best with one camera. The number of camera angles will not increase your chances of winning. The winners will be picked on the drumming alone, not multi-angles or video editing/production skills.

You can use triggers, but only kick trigger(s) are preferred. Both acoustic and electronic drum kits are allowed to enter. As always… please do not use quantification.

2. Anyone can enter as many times as you like, but if you are under 18 we will need parental permission to include you, or send you any prize.

3. Upload your entry video to your own YouTube Channel and paste a link in the comments on our contest video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkihyZ6FWbs

4. We will add each entry video to a playlist on our channel.

5. Entries must be uploaded and shared with us by November 20th, 2018 at Midnight EST. Kevin will review all entries and we will alert the 3 winners by YouTube message.
