World-renowned drumming superstar, award-winning author and instructional DVD creator, Thomas Lang will host his Thomas Lang Drumming Boot Camp (TLDBC) on October 14th – 17th 2010 in scenic Westlake Village, CA. Lang, was most recently named #13 on Rhythm magazine’s “Top Drummer of the Past 25 Years.” Lang has previously hosted his prestigious drum camps in New York, Berlin, Vienna, London and Tokyo.
Hosted at the beautiful Hyatt, Westlake Village, the 3-day Thomas Lang Drumming Boot Camp will offer a limited number of students the chance to play with and learn from Thomas Lang in an ultra intensive classroom setting.
“You don’t have to be an advanced player – but this course will advance your playing,” says Lang.
Students at the camp will also enjoy a tour of the Drum Workshop/Drum Channel facilities in Oxnard, CA and the chance to attend a performance from Arnold Schwarzenegger heavy metal comedy/concept band SchwarZenator (featuring Thomas Lang on drums) on October 15th at Club Good Hurt in Venice, CA.
Lang has toured the world as a performer and educator — earning numerous awards for his superb drumming skills, clinics and for his wildly popular educational books and DVD’s, “Creative Control” and “Creative Coordination.” He currently plays with power metal trio, stOrk with guitarist Shane Gibson (KoRn). stOrk’s debut album will be released in January of 2011.
