TheRave.com will be streaming two rock concerts this weekend. Friday, November 5th, Pennsylvania alt-metal band CKY's concert will be streamed live at 8pm CDT (9pm Eastern/6pm Pacific/1a GMT). Hourcast and Lionize open the show.
CKY return to the music scene with the release of their new single "The Afterworld." The song, which builds upon the band’s signature sound, is also used during the closing credits of Paramount Pictures/MTV Films Jackass 3D now in theaters nationwide. The track will also be featured on the Jackass 3D soundtrack, which will be released on October 26th via Epitaph Records. The single is also currently available digitally via iTunes with fans who have downloaded the track raving "another top notch track from cKy" and "something new and refreshing."
Then, on Sunday, November 7th, the entire world will get to re-experience the blood-drenched insanity of GWAR's Halloween concert at The Rave, originally broadcast on Halloween. GWAR fans across the known universe get a special treat with a rebroadcast of the concert, including sacrifices of Lady Gaga and Sarah Palin, plus a cameo appearance from the legendary Gor Gor, the infamous creature that lives under GWAR's drumkit. GWAR's Halloween night concert was an epic blood-soaked night of mayhem that has forever left its mark on The Rave.
