I'm Paul Frühauf from Mainz (Germany). I played guitar for Heidenlaerm (Pagan/Black Metal) from 2001 to 2002 and partly programmed the drums for the lack of a drummer on the "Blut'ge Erde"-demo, using Cakewalk 8 and some Zoom drum-computer. In 2005 I started with Vaulting (Death Metal) and Speedwolf (as Vaulting's Heavy Metal-Project), again I had to program the drums because we had no equipment to record a drum-set propperly. At the moment I use Steinberg Cubase SE 3 and the Battery 2 plugin from Native Instruments to program my drums. I'm actually no big friend of programmed drums in Metal, so I try to program them in a way they could actually be played by a real drummer which comes quiet easily to me because I always wanted to be a drummer but somehow ended up being a guitar-player. Drink German beer!
