Well, I am sitting here in Denver waiting to fly home and figured a little news about The Blast Off Drum Competition was in order. I first would like to thank all who sponsored, attended and helped the event become the success that it was. The venue was great, the contestants were great and the number of people who attended the competition was amazing! There were about 250 – 300 people there and all appeared to have a good time. A special Thanks to our judges: John Merryman, Duane Timlin, Eric Park and Jason Parrott…
We awarded 2 First Place, 2 Second Place and 2 Third Place winners at the end of the day. There will be a feature story on each of the winners posted on the site, later this week. Again, Thanks to everyone for making this first Blast Off a huge success, we are already looking forward to the next one…
