Pig Destroyer New Album: “Phantom Limb”

PIG DESTROYER will see the release of their long-awaited new album Phantom Limb next Tuesday, June 12 (June 18 internationally). Phantom Limb was recorded at Omega Studios (BAD BRAINS) in Rockville, MD and follows up the wildly successful and influential 2004 release Terrifyer. Phantom Limb features 14 all-new songs from the heralded grindcore troupe and artwork by John Baizley (BARONESS, TORCHE). PIG DESTROYER recently unveiled preview tracks from Phantom Limb, for “Machete Twins”, “Thought Crime Spree”, and “Loathsome”, via this ecard. “Loathsome” can also be heard on the band’s MySpace and PureVolume pages.

Also starting this Saturday, June 9, an Ebony Epiphone guitar autographed by PIG DESTROYER will be up for grabs through FYE.com. This contest will run through June 15. PIG DESTROYER has announced a string of East Coast shows in support of Phantom Limb’s release. These shows will take place June 14 through 16 and will include label mates GENGHIS TRON and CAR BOMB as support on all shows. CHILD ABUSE will also join the band in Philadelphia and New London.
