From Mike: “Hailing from the Chicago area, I realized I was going to be a drummer when I kept getting in trouble in the second grade for continually tapping my pencil on my desk. By middle school I was fully immersed in percussion; joining the local youth orchestra, concert band, jazz band, marching band and numerous cover bands. In high school I developed a healthy obsession with the underground and started playing in various local thrash and death metal projects, eventually landing in a reunited Broken Hope.”
“With Broken Hope, I have cut my teeth on the road all over the US, Europe and South America (touring with the likes of Obituary, Deicide, Immolation, Cattle Decapitation & Internal Bleeding). We have recorded three full-length albums for Century Media Records: “Omen of Disease,” “Live Disease,” and “Mutilated & Assimilated.” Since joining Broken Hope in 2012, I’ve been a live fill–in for Jungle Rot, joined Minneapolis thrashers Powermad, and provided drums for a blackened industrial project called Eat. Their. Own.”
“Through ETO I met members of The Atlas Moth, who I eventually joined in mid-2016. We signed with Prosthetic Records and my first full length with The Atlas Moth (Coma Noir) came out in February 2018 and debuted at #24 on Billboard’s “Hot New Music” and “Top New Artists” charts.”
