This footage of Death Angel, featuring Kirk Hammett of Metallica playing 'Trapped Under Ice', was filmed on 2/8/2014 at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco, California, as part of the 'Kirk Von Hammett Fear FestEvil Weekend.' This was a three day convention celebrating Kirk's love of all things horror, which featured a huge amount of his personal monster and horror memorabilia.
Aside from the number of amazing panel discussions with celebrities/guest speakers fom many industries (including Greg Nicotero from The Walking Dead), the Fear FestEvil also featured the talents of Exodus, Carcass, Death Angel, Orchid and Death Division (featuring Tim Yeung of Morbid Angel).
Back in 2012 Kirk released a coffee table book called 'Too Much Horror Business' that featured pictures of his massive collection. He displayed a portion of his collection in the 'Kirk's Crypt' exhibit during the Orion Music Festival in 2012 and 2013.
