"So the first night of the tour was at Soma in San Diego. I was nervous as hell because I heard the stage was huge, and it was the first night I was playing on a house kit, which is a white Tama Superstar. We crashed in the van in a Wal-Mart parking lot that was about 6 miles away, then woke up, went to Guitar Center where I ended up meeting David Mcgraw from Cattle Decapitation / Sleep Terror! He works in the drum department there, which is cool because I've been listening to Sleep Terror and the new Cattle Decapitation CD since it came out. Same strip mall… we ended up running into kid TV star Kel Mitchell (All That, Kennan And Kel) and his infamous movie Goodburger, at a Staples! haha. We were all star struck, because we've all grown up watching him on TV.
Another cool story… I met 2 guys at Chic's in El Paso when we had an off day with Emmure, Despised Icon, For The Fallen Dreams, and Veil Of Maya. These guys had the sickest, most ridiculous tattoo's! One dude had a Hulk Hogan portrait on his arm and had a Camel tattoo on his big toe. His friend ended up having a to do list on his arm which was even more bad ass! Just lines that were numbered on his forearm…
