NAMM 2015 – Chason Westmoreland Of Hate Eternal – Schlagwerk Percussion

As another successful NAMM Show comes to a close, buyers and exhibitors from around the world leave Anaheim armed with inspiration, fortified relationships, and new strategies to help them resonate with their customers in the coming year. Winter NAMM 2015 took place in Anaheim, California, January 22nd – 25th and again, was one of the best shows we have experienced in recent years.

This footage of Chason Westmoreland, the newly appointed rummer for Hate Eternal. You may also know Chason from his time in Rose Funeral, Oceano, and even from filling in with Fallujah, or Enfold Darkness. Chason is an insane drummer with a vast range of playing ability, and we can’t wait to hear more from him in the coming year. He recently finished recording the next Hate Eternal release with Erik Rutan at Mana Studios, and we are told it’s some of (if not the best) best drumming ever to be tracked for the band. When we asked Erik Rutan about the sessions, he simply said… “Wow.” We will be releasing some in-studio footage from that session as soon as permitted, and if nothing else, will be premiering one of the new tracks when available.

This video features Chason playing a kit comprised of different Cajons from Schlagwerk Percussion out of Germany. http://www.schlagwerk.com and featuring CRX Cymbals. This kit was extremely fun to play… Keep checking back, as we also have footage of Gus Rios, and Raanen Bozzio getting some time on this kit! As well as tons of other video and NAMM coverage on the way.
