Sick Drummer Magazine Issue 27 Featuring Francesco Paoli of Fleshgod Apocalypse Now Live On Line!
Tuesday, 18 March 2014 23:13

Issue 27 of Sick Drummer Magazine featuring Francesco Paoli of Fleshgod Apocalypse is now live on line. This issue also features interviews with Bill Tolley of Internal Bleeding, Bryan Newbury of Death Toll Rising, Nicolas Muller of Svart Crown, Max Scheffler of Post Mortem, Ben Carter of Evile, David Husvik of Extol, Torrey Moores of Deprecated, Brian Tichy (ex: Whitesnake, Billy Idol and the founder of the Bonzo Bash), Mike Wyatt of Genocaust, Kyle Severn of Incantation/Acheron, Daniel Hemmerich of Goemagot, Xul of Thanatos (ex: Melecesh), Marc Jackson of Mpire of Evil and a look back at 'Kingdom of Conspiracy' with Steve Shalaty of Immolation.

This issue also has an interview and contest with Tomasz Pilasiewicz of Agony Climax (ex: Gorgasm). Check out page 14 and take the link to our contest page. This snare drum is a piece of death metal history and would be an amazing addition to the collection of any true fan of drumming and music.

Additionally you will find the first product review by Elliot Hoffman of [Car Bomb]. Elliot takes a look at the Zildjian "A" Series - two crash cymbals and the 23" Sweet Ride. There is a link to a video where Elliot played the cymbals in a live setting, so be sure to click on that and check it out.

Gus Rios (ex: Malevolent Creation) wrote a great review of the Ultimate Ears UE 11 Pro in-ear monitors on page 82.

Lastly, this issue announces the winner of our Slipknot Drum Cover Contest that was launched mid-December last year. There were 158 entries and they were all great! Many of them were amazing, which made the decision that much harder. After many views of each video and long deliberation, we chose our winner who will be featured in our next issue. You can see who was chosen and check out the winning video from page 90-91.

Until next time, enjoy the issue and thanks for the support!

I seriously need to read that interview with Francesco Paoli! But when I press on the link that says "CHECK OUT THE ISSUE HERE!" the current issue pops up instead. So I see the 28th issue instead of the 27th. Please could you post a link that brings me to the 27th issue!

And btw. What happened to the second part of the Q and A session with Francesco and Shawn Priest that you said was going to be released with the 27th issue?
